First Look at Rick Perry
It seems Rick Perry’s entrance into the race has been planned for quite some time. Within a few days of entering the race, he is now the GOP nod leader on Intrade, leading long-time frontrunner Romney, 40% to 30%. The latest Rasmussen poll has him leading Romney by 11 points. The media and political establishment have been slobbering over and promoting him at all costs, so it’s no surprise he’s now the leader. However, what is the truth about Rick Perry?
- Texas debt has more than doubled under Perry. TX State government spending also nearly doubled.
- Perry lies about raising taxes and fees.
- Much like other neocons, he began as a liberal democrat, working as Al Gore’s campaign manager in Texas in 1988.
- Perry supported the bankster bailouts, then quickly changed his position and pretends he never did.
- In 2007, he signed an executive order requiring nearly all girls in the state to receive the controversial HPV vaccine. Of course, the manufacturer of the drug, Merck, gave Perry at least $6,000 in campaign contributions and hired former Perry Chief of Staff Mike Toomey to handle its Texas lobbying work. How do you cover that up? Say you changed your mind.
- In 2008, Perry and Texas CPS led the illegal, immoral raid at the FLDS YFZ Ranch. SWAT teams barged in and 438 children were kidnapped from their parents. The justification for this totalitarian, police-state raid turned out to be a prank call made by Rozita Swinton. What wouldn’t Perry do with his power as commander-in-chief?
- Much like Bill Clinton, rumors circulate about his womanizing, infidelity, strippers, etc, yet he hides behind evangelical, born-again rhetoric.
- In 2007, Perry was a special guest-speaker and attendee at the Bilderberg conference.
- Lew Rockwell’s political insider calls Perry “demonic.”
It’s clear this man’s path has been paved by the rich and powerful, and he has the media and political establishment behind him. Whether our next president is Perry or Obama, it doesn’t matter; the massive debts, bank bailouts, wars, destruction of our republic and rights, etc will continue. Don’t be fooled by his rhetoric and the subsequent political theater.
